Philip Olsen Kimsey, MD, received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his residency and internship in family practice at Anderson Area Medical Center in South Carolina. Dr. Kimsey is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Medical Association of Georgia, the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians and the Christian Medical Dental Association. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Practice. Dr. Kimsey is married and has 3 children.
 

Paul Q. Cerny, MD, is an Atlanta native who received his medical degree in 1993 from Emory University School of Medicine and completed his residency in 1996 at the University of Virginia.  He is board certified by the American Board of Family Practice.  He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Christian Medical Dental Association.  Dr. Cerny is married and has 2 children.  He served as a family physician with Lovelace Family Medicine in South Carolina for the first 5 years of practice, then served in Central Asia as a medical missionary before settling back in Georgia.  He has practiced at our Flowery Branch office since 2002.

Carla Whitlow, PA, attended undergraduate college at Furman University and Brenau University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.  Carla was class President in nursing school and elected into Phi Theta Kappa and Sigma Theta Tau honor societies.  She then earned a Masters of Medical Science degree from the Emory University Physician Assistant Program in Atlanta, GA and became nationally board certified as a Physician Assistant.  She is married to Wesley Whitlow and enjoys traveling, photography and playing the piano. Carla has been in practice since March of 2003.

Wendy A Royal, PA, attended Gainesville College and received her Nursing and Physician Assistant Bachelor of Science degrees from the Medical College of Georgia. Wendy is an active member of the American Academy of Family Practice Physician Assistants, the Georgia Academy of Physician Assistants, and has her American Heart Association BLS, PALS and ACLS certifications. She is active in her church and has participated in various mission trips and outreach programs. Wendy has been in practice since 2002.
